Class one- Prof has a B.A. He’s probably 30, max. He’s done a lot and knows a lot about his subject, but he seems to think he knows everything and attempts to correct everyone’s “erroneous” thoughts about life… because clearly someone who doesn’t even have a master’s degree knows everything. I trust his knowledge of the subject. I do not like him as a person.
Class two- I hate this class. I’m supposed to love it. Everything about this class is everything that’s interesting to me. The prof is a nice guy, the TA is knowledgeable, the subject matter I enjoy. Too bad some retard adviser stuck an entire freshmen learning community in the class. As a result, the prof decided to “dumb down” the material feeling sympathy for all the kids right out of highschool. Our grades are based on: 5 papers (200 words each!!! OMG Like… Two Hundred words is so many that I like……can’t even state my argument in 2 paragraphs……..), 5 tests (5 questions each. FML, that’s probably gonna be harder than an O Chem test, not.), 1 three minute presentation (but “since there’s so many kids in the class, if we don’t make the 3 minute mark, it’s ok” umm…I could stand up there and say Hi. My name is Rachel and I’m a SENIOR! and hit the 3 minute mark), 1 final paper 1000 words (“it’s four pages.” ….double spaced….). I feel dumber just sitting with the kids.
Class Three- Knew the prof before, class should be easy and boring, but required. Classroom, no empty seats… 300 degrees… No open windows…
Class Four- Interesting material, Cute little old prof with a nose like she fell out of Whoville. Seems like it should be fine. Ordered the text book over a week ago, estimated ship date: Sept 17th. Delightful. Also, all the kids in that class put my extracurriculars to shame. I feel lame.
Class Five- Self-Paced Honors Thesis. FML. Right now. FML….
When is graduation again???
